Scott McIntosh brings 18 years of real estate investing experience to  Opportunity Zone Consulting Group. He is passionate about neighborhood revitalization and has previously served as an inner-city school teacher and as a Captain in the Army JAG Corps. Scott sees Opportunity Zones as a perfect pairing of his real estate investing experience, tax and legal expertise, and passion for inner-city revitalization.

Scott founded Opportunity Zone Consulting Group in 2019 to help others leverage the Opportunity Zone incentive to maximize impact in their communities.  He has created Qualified Opportunity Funds for clients large and small, and advised on the deployment of more than $90 million of investor capital into Opportunity Zones around the country.  Scott benefits from a broad network of contacts in the industry, but has chosen to maintain a solo-practice.  This allows him to personally fulfill the commitments he makes to each of his clients and provide them with a single point-of-contact for their OZ structuring and compliance questions.  

Scott and his wife, Audrey, have been married 14 years and are the proud parents of four wonderful children.  They love playing sports and board games together, traveling, and biking throughout Lexington and on nearby trails.  They are also actively involved in their church and at their children’s school, where Scott serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
